Company Details

In 1974, I earned my law degree from the University of Oregon and began a 25-year career in the practice of law there. I developed keen skills in presentations and in negotiations while I represented clients in complex and difficult situations. During times of my practice, I emphasized real-property cases, dealing in everything from land-use planning to contracts of sale.

In August 2000, after I retired from my law practice in Portland, Oregon, Denise and I moved to Oakmont. We moved here not only because of the weather but also because of the abundance of activities and the proximity of Amadel State Park for hiking. We have actively participated in our community---I'm in the hiking, swimming and golf clubs as well as active in our Rotary Club. I was the President of the Fitness Center.

University of Oregon, School of Law---JD; University of California, Santa Barbara---MA and BA, history.
I also attended Indiana University in a PhD program in history, Instituto Falcon and ITESO in Mexico for language studies, Harvard University and San Jose State College.

For 25 years, I practiced law in Eugene, Roseburg and Portland, Oregon where I represented clients in cases varying from domestic relations, major felonies and real property.

I developed an interest in fine wines while still in Oregon and that interest has blossomed here. Besides our wine club with several other couples, I also worked at the tasting rooms at Kenwood and BR Cohn Wineries.

Activities: Selling real estate, hiking, backpacking, golf, cycling, etc.

Although born and raised in Sonoma County, Denise spent years in Oregon but returned to live in Oakmont in 2000. She brings varied and successful experiences to her career in real estate. For years she worked as a legal assistant in Oregon where she was involved in complex and multi-jurisdictional litigation. She raised and showed dogs, reaching the level of showing at Westminster Show in New York City .

She possesses great organizational and people skills. When she moved back to Sonoma County, she worked for the Benziger Family Winery, finally to the position of managing Imagery Tasting Room. She then began a real estate career, partnering with her husband.

With a deep devotion to her real estate career, Denise eagerly represents both buyers and sellers so that they can achieve their goals successfully and without undo stress.
