Karen’s life in America began after moving from Denmark to San Francisco in 1965 after graduating from Business School.  While living in San Francisco, she met and married her husband, Frank. After moving to Santa Rosa, Karen’s love of family, friends, community, and golf were evidenced by her active support of organizations:  from VA/Home Hospice and the annual Woodstock Open (named for and supported by Charles “Sparky” Schultz), he was her partner one year (but did not win). Her current involvement in Oakmont Rotary as well as her constant support of her family, friends community and country. 

Karen and Frank raised three children in Santa Rosa — Kristina, Kirsten, and Ron — and have welcomed eight grandchildren, and their newest “child,” Mollie, a West Highland Terrier!  Her love and dedication can be seen in the lives of her children and grandchildren.

Whether it’s hosting a family event, introducing new members to the community, discussing politics and history, or discussing the merits of West Highland Terriers, Karen brings knowledge, enthusiasm and integrity to everything she does and everyone she meets, including all her new and repeat real estate clients.  Seeing her clients enjoy the life of the Oakmont Community brings her joy and satisfaction.
